A special way to promote your new mobile phone Samsung Galaxy Z Foldable 6 found English creatives, as one of the classic London buses in the form of a folding bus decided to intervene on Old Street.
By the way, this is not a real bus. It is a real work of art in the form of a folded bus, created by artist Caspar Philips using a lot of recycled materials from real London buses.
The folded bus measures 6 by 6.2 metres, with its rear end 6 metres above the ground. The artwork was built to scale and took two months to design and build.
But that wasn’t all of Samsung’s campaign in the English capital: the company also installed other folded works of art in the Old Street area as part of its “Fold Town” art project. These include a folded bench, a red telephone box and a street lamp that folds up to almost three metres high. These additional folded pieces were designed and created by Jem Hughes.
The icing on the cake is that Samsung has temporarily renamed the former Old Street tube station to Fold Street. To achieve this change, Samsung partnered with Transport for London (TfL).
