Latest release Samsung is troubling the Korean electronics company’s president, Jay Y. Lee, too much because of the hateful comparisons some of his products have drawn with Manzana.
In particular, criticism from the head of Samsung concerns the design Galaxy Buds 3 And Galaxy Watch Ultradue to its similarities to AirPods and Apple Watch respectively.
According to a recent report from a Korean media outlet. AyuNews (through SamMobile), Lee recently ordered Samsung MX to reconsider its plans and took strict action against some executives, including the division’s president, T.M. Roh.
People familiar with the developments said that Lee “Intervened after controversy over design, Apple plagiarism and quality issues surrounding the Buds 3 and Galaxy Watch 7 series released last month. “The internal situation is currently very bad.”
Without a doubt, the closest copy seems to be the Galaxy Buds 3, which no longer have their usual bean-shaped form, adopting the more elongated feature of the AirPods and an identical body.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Watch Ultra’s chunky square design with orange accents makes it look a lot like the Apple Watch Ultra. The orange quick-release button on the side and the strap options are also reminiscent of Apple’s high-end smartwatches.
