Xiaomi just missed out on the information everyone has been wanting to know for months. There are multiple versions of HyperOS 2.0 registered on the company’s servers, which reflect the codenames of the corresponding devices, meaning that we can now know which company’s phones will be updated first. They are in total 15 smartphonesand, surprisingly, there are a few surprises among those chosen by the Asian firm.

And yes, 15 is a very small number, but don’t be alarmed: Xiaomi is going to update many more phones in its catalog to HyperOS 2.0. In fact, the total number may exceed 100 smartphones, but these fifteen will be the first to do so. Those privileged people who receive special treatment and who, to everyone’s surprise, These are not only high-quality devices.

That’s right, the list we’re about to tell you includes some other mid-range mobile phoneas well as some released during 2023. That is, Xiaomi is not only going to release HyperOS 2.0 for its latest or most expensive models, but it has also taken into account most of the general public.

15 Xiaomi companies chose HyperOS 2.0 before everyone else

The following list shows which Xiaomi phones will be updated first. In fact, it is quite possible that they will be able to do this from the day of the presentation of HyperOS 2.0, a major milestone that was already announced in a few days. Take a good look.

  • Xiaomi Redmi Note 13R
  • Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro
  • Xiaomi 14
  • Xiaomi 14 Pro
  • Xiaomi 14 Ultra
  • Xiaomi 13 Ultra
  • Xiaomi MIX Folding 4
  • Xiaomi MIX flip
  • Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro
  • Xiaomi Qivi 2
  • Redmi K70 Pro
  • Redmi K70 Ultra
  • Redmi K70E
  • Redmi K60 Ultra

Now, if you see models that are only sold in China, there is an explanation: This list only reflects the mobile phones that will receive HyperOS 2.0 in the Asian country.. Unfortunately, this is not a global list, although it is likely that many of these devices will also be the first to receive a version intended for the rest of the world.

It is surprising, for example, to see a couple of models from the Redmi Note 13 series and not the Xiaomi 13 or MIX Fold 3. This does not mean that they are not going to be updated, but they will do so later in the second or third wave of HyperOS 2.0 rollout.

When will HyperOS 2.0 Global be released? This version, which will be installed on mobile phones outside of China, will take longer to arrive. Actually, the first leaks and rumors talk about early 2025. This fits well with Xiaomi’s strategy of past years, even the main character was MIUI. Therefore, if you live in Spain or Latin America, you will still have to wait a few months.

Of course, you may want to keep this list in mind as it may be repeated when HyperOS 2.0 Global is released.
