First Red Dead Redemption One of Rockstar’s greatest classics – but it has never been released for PC since its debut in 2010. Following the release of the PS4 and Nintendo Switch versions in August 2023, the studio confirmed this Tuesday (08): PC port coming in October!

“For the first time in its storied legacy, John Marston’s beloved journey can be experienced in stunning new detail on PC. Red Dead Redemption and the iconic zombie horror story, Immortal NightmareComing to PC on October 29th,” congratulated Rockstar in its announcement this Tuesday (08).
Red Dead Redemption port will be packed with PC-exclusive tech
Definitely the beginning of the first Red Dead Redemption On PC, it will be accompanied by platform-specific technologies. Some of the improvements include native 4K resolution and up to 144 Hz on compatible hardware, along with support for Ultrawide (21:9), Super Ultrawide (32:9) and HDR10 monitors, as well as full mouse and keyboard support.
Of course, the game will be able to take advantage of Nvidia’s DLSS and AMD’s FSR technologies, which further improve the image without compromising the graphics card’s processor. Adjustable draw distance, shadow quality settings and assets will also be available in the package.
