Apple Promises ‘Week of Announcements’ Focused on New M4 Macs

Debut of new Poppy with chip M4 are just around the corner and Apple has finally revealed when they will be announced. Contrary to what was initially expected, the people of Cupertino did not hold a special event to present the new equipment in question.

There are currently no details on what order the announcements will be in. Updates to the stable versions of iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1 and macOS 15.1 are confirmed to be released next Monday, but what Joswiak says suggests that the first – or first – Mac with M4 could arrive on the same day. Rumors that Apple will release a new Mac M4 in late October have been circulating for quite some time. What can we expect from the Mac M4 announcement?

The M4 chip will come to the Mac after debuting this year in the iPad Pro, and it will come in three models:

• Mac mini: Rumors suggest this will be big news, but not just because of the introduction of the M4 chip. According to Mark Gurman, the model will update its appearance and will be much smaller in size than the current version, which will bring its size closer to the Apple TV. • iMac: The first wave of new M4 Macs will come with this hardware. There aren’t many rumors about this model, but no changes in size or design are expected (it will still be 24 inches).
