Just ten months after the presentation of the Oppo Find X7 and X7 Pro, the Asian company announced two models that will be an update to the brand’s flagships so far. Oppo announced in China Oppo Find X8 and X8 Protwo mobile phones that have a lot in common and some differences in screen, camera and battery to try and stand up against the very close high-end range.
Both the smartphones have a very similar design except for the size as the Pro model is larger due to the larger screen. The new Find X8 and X8 Pro have a huge photo module located at the top, with a glass back panel in different finishes to match the aluminum frames. In the case of the basic model, they stand out for their thinness. Find X8 has almost no Thickness 7.85 mm; The Pro model, on the other hand, has 8.24mm. They weigh 193 and 215 grams respectively.
Both terminals have a completely flat screen, which differs only in size and pixel density. Oppo Find X8 includes AMOLED panel 6.59. while the Find X8 Pro screen 6.78 inches. Both with a resolution of 2780 x 1265 pixels, which gives a density of 460 and 450 pixels per inch in the base and Pro models, respectively. In both cases, they include a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
MediaTek processor and amazing cameras for the new Oppo X8 and X8 Pro
The multimedia section is complemented by a processor from MediaTek. In particular, both Find X8 and Find X8 Pro have Dimension 9400 from a Chinese company. Both have versions ranging from 12 to 16 GB of RAM and 256, 512 and 1 TB of storage.
There is an important difference in autonomy. Oppo Find X8 has a battery capacity 5630 mAhand Find X8 Pro includes one of 5910 mAh. However, and probably given the slight increase in screen size in the Pro version, both may offer the same duration. Both models come with 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

Oppo has not skimped on the photo section, where we also find many differences. Oppo Find X8 includes Main sensor 50 megapixels with f/1.8 aperture. The Pro model is also 50-megapixel, but with an f/1.6 aperture; brighter. The ultra-wide-angle camera is the same in both cases: 50 megapixels and f/2.0 aperture.
The company has also included a third camera for portraits, which is also signed by Hasselblad. It’s also 50 megapixels and also allows up to 3x optical zoom in the base model. On the other hand, Find X8 Pro has an additional 50MP telephoto lens that allows you to take photos with 6x zoomand digital up to 120X.
Of course, the new Oppo smartphones have AI capabilities applied to a camera, such as one that can reduce blur in photos, eliminate reflections, or even erase unwanted elements from an image. The company has also implemented an assistant of sorts that answers questions, transcribes voice notes, or lets you glean information from whatever appears on the screen.
