Xiaomi has presented worldwide, along with its new smartwatches and new headphones, this new large family of smartphones, which consists of a total of four members. On the one hand, Note 14 Pro, Pro 5G. On the other hand, two smartphones, all the characteristics of which we describe in detail below: Redmi Note 14 and Note 14 5G.
Both models have a lot in common and some differences that go beyond compatibility with 5G networks. However, its design is exactly the same.
Both terminals have an appearance very similar to Xiaomi, with a completely flat back that stands out for its side-mounted photographic module and matte frames.
Its front is also completely flat and has virtually no frames. Both Redmi Note 14 and Redmi Note 14 5G have 6.67-inch AMOLED screen. Both with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
Its brightness is also 1800 nits in the case of the 4G model, and up to 2100 nits in the 5G version, this is one of the main differences between the two phones.

Safe bet on MediaTek
Of course, screen brightness is not the most important difference between Redmi Note 14 and Note 14 5G. Xiaomi’s two new mid-range processors come with different processors, although both are from the same company: MediaTek. The 4G model has a thinner SoC, Helium G99-Ultra. It is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core processor and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It is also accompanied by two versions: 6 or 8 GB of RAM, as well as 128 or 256 GB of internal memory.

There are also important differences in the cameras. Of course, not in the primary sensor. Both models have 108MP wide-angle camerawhich has an f/1.7 aperture.
However, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 5G is betting on the second. 8 MP wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, and the second camera of the Redmi Note 14 is a 2-megapixel depth sensor. They have a second macro camera with a resolution of 2 megapixels, as well as a front camera of 20 megapixels.
Of course, both the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 and the 5G model coming with HyperOS boast AI capabilities; some of them are very interesting and applicable to the camera. Both Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 and Redmi Note 14 5G will go on sale on January 15 next year. The basic version (that is, without 5G connectivity) can be purchased. for 229 euros in the Xiaomi online store and official distributors. It will be available in Midnight Black, Purple Mist (a type of purple), Ocean Blue and Lime Green.
However, Redmi Note 14 5G will go on sale. for 299 euros. It will be available in the same black color as the base model and two slightly different colors: lavender purple and coral green.
