The test build of One UI 7, which is currently in beta, has a reference to SM-S937B, the model number associated with the Galaxy S25 Slim. The regulatory documents helped us identify the model numbers of the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra, which clearly continue the model numbers used for the Galaxy S24 series.

That’s why the SM-S937B stands out for its uniqueness. It matches the model numbers used for the Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra, making it stand out as a separate model in the S25 lineup. The software details don’t reveal anything else other than that the devices we tested are being manufactured for Europe, India, and other regions. The US version, usually indicated by a U at the end of the model number, was not found in this software version.
Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S25 series during its Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22, and for a while it was expected that the Slim version would be unveiled on stage, but more recent information points to a later announcement, possibly around May 2025. However, it’s entirely possible that Samsung will use January’s Galaxy Unpacked event to tease the Galaxy S5 Slim.
The final version of One UI 7 will almost certainly be installed on the Galaxy S25 series and judging by the videos about Galaxy AIThe beta experience, the exciting new Now Bar and leaked information about Galaxy AI will be crucial to the success of the phone.
