Nothing sets the date for the next big launch: Nothing Phone (3) in sight?

The 2025 calendar promises several important announcements in the smartphone segment. A few days ago we got acquainted with the new Samsung Galaxy S25, and Nothing There’s also a major release in the works in a few weeks. Via X (Twitter), Carl Pei’s firm has confirmed the date when it will unveil its next major product, and there are speculations that this could be the date when it will unveil its next major product. This will happen on Tuesday, March 4at 10:00 (GMT); that is 11:00 in Spain. Although Nothing didn’t share any details about this, he did accompany the publication with a short video as teaser. It shows the camera module surrounded by lights reminiscent of the Glyph interface that has already become a signature element of the brand. The post also includes the phrase “Strength in perspective.”

Assuming that the observed figure is in fact the camera module of the Nothing Phone (3), it retains the already familiar vertical tablet format. but apparently it adds a third sensor. If confirmed, this will be the brand’s first mobile phone to offer more than two rear cameras in its configuration. Of course, this should be taken with a grain of salt until there is official confirmation.

The choice of March 4th as the date for the presentation of this new product, be it Nothing Phone (3), is not accidental. This day will become the second traditional Mobile World Congress (MWC) which takes place in Barcelona and which this year will take place from the 3rd to the 6th of the same month.

There has been nothing else to unveil new smartphones at the Catalonia event, so it would be reasonable to believe that the company is aiming to continue this trend.

“No phone” (3) or “No phone” (3a)?

The fact that Nothing Phone (3) will appear sometime in 2025 is not a big revelation. Carl Pei himself confirmed mid-last year that the said device would be released at some point in the current calendar. Moreover, he expected that much of his innovation would involve the use of artificial intelligence.

The Nothing leader called the introduction of new “artificial intelligence experiences” part of the entry into the “post-app” era. In addition, he showed a preview of a kind of virtual assistant or companion also powered by this technology. Some speculations have also been leaked for 2024 layouts Nothing Phone (3), which showed the supposed presence of an additional physical button.

However, there are doubts as to whether the planned MWC launch will be Nothing Phone (3) or Phone (3a). This is because when promoting an event published on Flipkart, The URL contained a reference to Nothing Phone (3a). In any case, it is unclear whether this could actually be the case.

It sounds a little strange that Nothing was able to release the supposed Phone (3a) before the Phone (3), which would have been its new flagship model.
