Apple started sales of the new iPhone 14 series in Brazil this Friday (14). Both the company itself and retailers, carriers and partners are starting to sell the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max directly after the pre-sale that started last week. iPhone 14 Plus will arrive in the country on October 28.

The iPhone 14 and 14 Plus have been released in new colors (midnight, purple, star, red and blue) and bring similarities to the previous generation model. So much so that they use the same A15 Bionic processor – but the model used in this case is the same as the iPhone 13 Pro, with a 6-core CPU and 5-core GPU.
iPhone 14 Pro: new camera and Dynamic Island
The iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max feature the new A16 Bionic processor and a New snippet on screen called Dynamic Island. The software-integrated system even carries Face ID and replaces the standard “notch” found on the iPhone X, allowing more interaction with apps, notifications and more.
Another innovation of the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max models is new 48MP camera. Apple has updated the sensors for the regular iPhone 14 cameras that are larger and allow more light in, resulting in better photos in low-light environments.
Trouble starting?
The launch of Apple’s next-generation smartphones in Brazil is also accompanied by controversy. The 18th Civil Court of São Paulo (SP) sentenced the company to R$100 million on Thursday (13) for the sale of devices without a charger in the box, a model considered “tied sale” by the Brazilian Court.
In addition, according to the decision, which Apple has previously confirmed that it will appeal, the company needs to ship the power adapter to consumers who have purchased an iPhone in recent yearsConsidering the launch of the iPhone 12 series in 2020.
