The new SSD joins other devices in the lineup like the original T7 and T7 Touch. The big difference in the new model is initially due to the design.for easier transportationthanks to its credit card-like size and weight of only 98 grams.

The T7 Shield is IP65 certified, meaning it is water and dust resistant. Samsung reports that the device is a good choice for “outdoor creators” or even adventurers who want a safer experience.

The T7 Shield SSD is available in black, blue and beige colors with 1TB or 2TB capacities starting at $159.99. The gadget comes with a USB Type-C to USB cable and a USB Type-C to USB Type-A cable and a three-year warranty. There is no information about the device’s arrival in Brazil.
