Asus announced this Thursday (10), Launch of ROG Phone 6 series in Brazil starting at R$5.4k worth the promotion. Launched globally in July this year, the model features the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which is built at 4 nanometers and is the most powerful processor Qualcomm currently has.
The player phone comes with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM memory and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. As a screen, it has a 6.78-inch screen, Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz.
Another difference of the smartphone is a secondary screen located on the back of the device, which can be customized. In the default view, the Asus logo is displayed in color.
In terms of lenses, the best-in-class phone has a triple camera: 50 MP main sensor, 13 MP Ultrawide and 5 MP Macro. The selfie front camera has a resolution of 12 MP.
The ROG Phone 6 battery also includes 6,000mAh, side-charge port support and 65W fast charging, headphone jack, IPX4 certification (water resistance), and Armory Crate and Game Genie apps. The product ships with Android 12.
player functions
ROG Phone has functions and is designed for short, medium and long gaming. The device has new coolers and a renewed cooling system. The new AeroActive cooler has, for example, 4 physical buttons, an intelligent thermoelectric cooling system and a performance mode setting.
The cooler’s configuration modes are: Off (allows the device to reach 44.8 degrees Celsius); Cooling (40.3 degrees); Frosted (37.2 degrees) and Frosted (36.2 degrees).
Still, there are RGB LEDs on the back to please the players and turn the product into a real player model. The new phones also have two ultrasonic side buttons called “air triggers” for gaming, gyroscopic sights and more.
ROG Phone 6 Pro and ROG Phone 6D
The ROG Phone 6 Pro has 18GB of RAM and 521GB of storage. Like the “brother”, it comes with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.
The other main difference between the Pro version and the previous version is the rear screen with a PMOLED display that shows notifications and animations. For example, it is possible to configure the device to display battery levels.
ROG Phone 6D Ultimate is the scariest and most powerful in the series. It comes with 16GB of RAM LPDDR5X, 512GB UFS 3.1 storage, 3.2GHz power and 7,500Mbps transfer rate. Unlike others, its processor is a MediaTek Size 9000+.
Another difference is the AeroActive Portal, an entry that allows direct cooling of the processor through the AeroActive Cooler.
price and availability
The ROG Phone 6 is already available in Brazil in black, priced at R$5,400 (8GB RAM version) and R$6,000 (12GB version), both values for promotional purposes. Prices excluding the launch promotion are R$7,000 and R$7,700 respectively. The white color of the device is coming here in December.
The mobile is currently sold on Asus’ official website, as well as at major retailers in the domestic market. The local market will also get the Batman Edition starting at R$8,100 (promotional price, R$10,000 excluding promotion).
ROG Phone Pro starts at R$10,000 and will arrive in stores in December in black only. Meanwhile, the ROG Phone 6D doesn’t have a price or release date yet.
It will come with the mobile phone case, 65W charger, USB-C cable, ejector pin and documents in the box. The Batman Edition comes with a variety of items, including the Bat Signal, Aero Case, and a superhero-themed launch pin.
