OnePlus, the Asian company now owned by Oppo, has announced in China that it will be its flagship in at least the first half of 2023. It is, of course, about One Plus 11, which comes with the latest version of Qualcomm, with a triple camera signed by Hasselblad, and with the return of features that the firm included in its mobiles, but for some reason decided to exclude in the latest versions. Among them Alert Slider.

In fact, OnePlus has brought back a model it decided not to announce in 2022; the basic version of its flagship. The company, recall, at the beginning of last year introduced only OnePlus 10 Pro, although later they released Oneplus 10T, with somewhat more modern characteristics, we never saw the standard version of this family, whose characteristics are usually somewhat lower, but as an argument, it was positioned on the market with a slightly cheaper price. The latter is exactly what the OnePlus 11 offers.

In particular, the new OnePlus smartphone has a look very similar to the OnePlus 10T, with the photographic module located on one side of the back and with a front panel, almost bezel-less on the screen, which in this case is completely flat. . Screenshot which by the way is 6.7 inches. It’s a QHD+ AMOLED panel with an adaptive frequency of up to 120Hz.

In the OnePlus 11 aspect, we also see other interesting news. One of them is Alert Slider, the famous mute button on the side of the smartphone, returning with a clear purpose: to restore the essence of the brand. As a reminder, the company removed this key on the OnePlus 10 Pro.

New from Qualcomm and a triple camera signed by Hasselblad

In terms of performance, OnePlus 11 is equipped with Qualcomm’s latest processor, which is also one of the most powerful on the market: Snapdragon 8 Gen. 2. This SoC is accompanied by two versions 12 and 16 GB of RAM, as well as 256 and 512 GB of internal memory. All this with a 5,000 mAh battery and up to 100W fast charging, capable of a 100% charge in about 25 minutes, the company says.

OnePlus has also not neglected the photographic section of the OnePlus 11. In this case, we find ourselves in front of triple camera co-developed with Hasselblad, a Swedish camera manufacturer that has been partnering with a Chinese company for years to offer the best results in terms of image processing, as well as various camera modes and features. Camera consisting of a 50-megapixel main sensor, another 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a third 32-megapixel telephoto lens capable of taking pictures with 2x optical zoom.

The OnePlus 11 also has major improvements in terms of software thanks to OxygenOS 13, although in the Asian market it will be sold with ColorOS, Oppo’s customization layer.
