February 21 was chosen by technology firm HONOR to launch a new line of devices in Spain. Among them is the HONOR Magic 5 Lite, an excellent input device that we had the opportunity to test a few days before the conference.
With high quality OLED screen, thoughtful design and attractive price, HONOR Magic 5 Lite could be one of the most recommended mobile phones for those who are looking for quality at a low price.
HONOR equips its Magic 5 Lite 6.67″ curved edge OLED screen. In addition to its high quality in relation to the price range it is in, it is capable of reaching 120Hz, which makes the panel one of the most positive aspects of the terminal. Added to this is a more than generous battery and enough internal energy to carry out everyday tasks without problems.
Thus, the HONOR Magic 5 Lite is presented as an option that, Not aiming to be the cheapest, it aims to be a great option if you are looking for good design, good construction materials, great screen and excellent battery at a competitive price. In a difficult year when mobile devices only increase the cost of sales to the general public, this move has been widely recognized.

Screen and design that speak for themselves
One of the most impressive aspects of the HONOR Magic 5 Lite is its screen. In addition to being the main element of interaction and providing good image quality, it becomes a key part of your design thanks to the curved edges, which are undoubtedly attractive, although they have their detractors. HONOR has succeeded in creating a mobile phone that feels thin and light despite its large screen size.
Also, the feel of its panel is fantastic considering the range it belongs to. OLED technology delivers perfect contrast, true color reproduction, and brightness levels as expected within its range. This, combined with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, makes browsing the web, reading a text or watching a movie a truly enjoyable experience.
With a 120Hz frequency, the HONOR Magic 5 Lite delivers smooth performance in almost any situation.. This technology increases the refresh rate of the screen content and, like in other phones, improves everything from transitions when switching between applications to scroll. It is clear that this type of technology is beginning to be standardized in the lower bands.
In addition, HONOR ensures that its new mobile phone reaches touch screen sampling rates up to 300Hz. The latter, while a welcome addition, isn’t that much of a feature in day-to-day mobile phone use.
HONOR Magic5 Lite Cameras: A Powerful Team, But No Surprise
The HONOR Magic5 Lite has a range of cameras that have become the industry standard. At the back, there is a 64MP primary sensor, accompanied by an f/1.8 lens. Although the number is quite impressive, the truth is that the results just match what you expect in the range. They are not brilliant, but satisfactory enough.
For its part, the 5-megapixel wide-angle sensor stands out the least from the rest. Pictures taken with this camera have a watercolor, fuzzy look with a lot of noiseeven under certain lighting conditions.
In contrast to the latter, we have a 2-megapixel macro camera. The level of detail in images taken with this camera is more than decent, despite the low resolution of the sensor.
The 16 MP front camera offers the same results. More than acceptable amount of detail if you are in a well lit area., although in low-light conditions you can find yourself at a stalemate with rather blurry images and lots of noise. On the other hand, it has functions for creating bokeh and the tools of the classic beauty mode.
HONOR Magic 5 Lite offers great battery and performance
Here we enter one of the most positive points of this HONOR Magic5 Lite. We have a terminal that offers 5100 mAh. This means autonomy up to 2 days of daily use. theory and a carefree day in real conditions. Plus, when you run out of battery, a quick charge will get you up to 12 and a half hours in just 30 minutes.
To enhance all its features, this HONOR Magic 5 Lite is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor. Added to that is 6GB of RAM, plus an additional 5GB thanks to HONOR RAM Turbo technology, giving you a total of 11GB. With all this, you will be able to play your favorite games smoothly as long as you don’t overdo the graphics. We tested it with PUBG Mobileand while it has decent performance, it’s compromised by requiring more of it in the visual part.
Unfortunately, this is HONOR Magic 5 Lite It only has a variant with 128 GB of internal memory.. Most will do, but if you shoot a lot of photos, videos and download a lot of applications, you will have to resort to the cloud.
A more than decent mobile phone at an affordable price
In general, the HONOR Magic 5 Lite is a fairly complete mobile phone. Of course, in this price range, we can’t ask too much in terms of camera and graphics performance. but even in this case, the device manages to get good results.
Likewise, if watching your favorite series on a high-end screen is the most important thing for you, then this is the perfect mobile phone for you. The HONOR Magic5 Lite has one of the best panels in the current mid-range price range.and the curved edges so popular in years past add an extra level of immersion to all the tasks you do with it.
HONOR Magic 5 Lite launched its pre-sale in Spain at a price of 369 euros from his official website. Of course, shipments to customers will be made no earlier than March 1 of this year, so you’ll have to wait a bit before it’s finally in your hands.
