In development since 2019, Google Pixel Fold is very close to being announced. Search Giant’s first foldable phone featured actual images posted by Android researcher Kuba Wojciechowski in a post on Twitter.

With just six seconds, video shows device with flexible screen on and off. However, it is possible to have a small example of how the highly anticipated device will be.

The alleged real images of the Google Pixel Fold look like previously published renders. For example, interior panel has significantly larger bezels Compared to foldable phones from Samsung and Oppo.

At the bottom of the device, which is quite prominent, is the folding mechanism.. Supposedly, the reinforced hinge prevents the two halves of the flexible screen from touching each other when the model is closed and prevents crease wear.

Another remarkable detail of Pixel Fold is, The screen does not have any notches or holes for the front camera.. As with older mobile phones, the space reserved for the photo sensor is located in the bezel itself.

Slightly different from current Pixel phones, Google’s new device has a “bar” on the back that organizes the camera set. However, unfortunately, it is not possible to see more details about the general coating of the foldable smartphone.

Announced at Google I/O in May

A recent article CNBC suggested that Google Pixel Fold will be one of the innovations of Google I/O 2023. The traditional developer conference is scheduled for May 10.
