Nvidia announced the arrival of an Asus gaming monitor with a 500Hz refresh rate during its Computex keynote. To achieve this high refresh rate, the ROG Swift 500Hz uses a 24.1-inch Esports tn panel that it claims should offer 60% better response times than a regular tn model. Also included are various Nvidia features, including Reflex Analyzer and G-Sync.

While a few details are discussed, it’s clear that at least the screen offers a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. This combination of resolution and refresh rate should make it particularly suitable for competitive shooters where every extra frame counts, including CS:GO, Valorant, Overwatch, and Rainbox Six Siege.

Pricing or availability information is not yet available, but users will likely have to spend some money on the upcoming display. Its younger sibling, the ROG Swift PG259QN, offers 360 Hz and retails for 500 Euros at the time of writing.
