While AMD didn’t reveal any concrete Ryzen 7000 processors at last week’s Computex trade show, Team red’s partners have already shown off their first X670 and X670E motherboards. Meanwhile, more details have emerged about Gigabyte’s models, including target prices. TechPowerUp has also managed to provide visual material.

With a suggested retail price of $300-350, the X670 Aorus Pro AX is currently the lowest segment motherboard, but the Elite version will come later with a more modest price and feature set. Only the first m.2 slot offers PCIe 5.0 speeds, the other three copies and the topmost x16 slot are about Gen 4 speeds. In addition to the two type-c connectors, there are ten more type-a ports on the back, four of which use USB 2.0.

In the next segment is the X670E Aorus Master, which will change hands for between $360 and $400. For this amount you get 16+2+2 105A current phase, a pcie 5.0 x16 slot and at least three m.2 connectors with pcie 5.0. All models shown have two 8-pin power plugs for the processor, you also get an LED display for error codes at this price point.

In terms of connectivity, Gigabyte provides eight USB 3.2 type-a ports and two other USB 2.0 connections. In addition to the 20 Gbps type-c connector, there is another 10 Gbps with DP alt mode.

Next up is the X670E Aero D for professional use as usual. For example, in addition to eight USB type-a ports, it consists of two type-c ports with I/O, USB4, Thunderbolt 3 and DP sub-mode. Both the top x16 slot and the first m.2 connector offer PCIe 5.0, plus there are three additional M.2 slots for PCIe 4.0 SSDs. There is also a button to open the PCIe slot of the GPU easily, as Asus has implemented on some Z690 motherboards. The Aero D will cost just over $400.

Finally we arrive at the most expensive model in this series, the X670E Aorus Xtreme. Xtreme supports up to four PCIe 5.0 SSDs, but this limits the GPU’s x16 slot to eight Gen 5 lanes – equivalent to PCIe 4.0 x16. Other distinguishing features include 10GbE and a clear cmos button on the back. The manufacturer reports a target price of $500 to $600.
