HP has released a number of products in various categories under the Z sub-brand. Mobile workstations, monitors, a docking station, and software tools are aimed at, for example, designers, engineers, data scientists and media professionals. The hardware must remove the limitation of screen space or computing power while being portable and easy to use.

ZBook Fury and Studio G9

The ZBook Studio G9 comes with access to Nvidia’s Studio software, which consists of Omniverse, Broadcast, and Canvas. An Intel Core i9 vPro processor is onboard with the Nvidia RTX A5500 or GeForce 3080 Ti. Up to 64GB of memory and 4TB of SSD storage can be accommodated. All this comes with a price tag of at least $2500.

The Fury G9 also gets an Intel CPU at 55W and an A5500 or Radeon Pro graphics card, unfortunately no further details are known. Both laptops will enter the European market in August, and their prices will be announced at the same time.

The Z24m G3 is a 23.8 inch 90Hz qhd panel with a host of built-in conferencing functions. This includes a tilting webcam, two microphones and two speakers. The display is HDR 400 certified and is factory calibrated for the P3 color space. In addition to hdmi 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4 and usb 3.2 type-a, there is also Ethernet and usb-c with 100W charging function.

The USB-c port and meeting functions are missing on the otherwise identical Z24q G3. The latter is already on sale for around $380 and will arrive in July for 400 euros, the Z24m will have to wait until August.

The Thunderbolt G4 Dock can provide up to 280 watts of power to charge a laptop. There are Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI and DisplayPort, and quite a few USB ports built in. The berths are expected to sell for 210 and 255 euros for the 120 or 280W version this month.

Finally, HP plans to expand the ecosystem of Z products with a set of creative and data manipulation software tools that should launch this summer.
