According to Weibo user Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi will unveil the self-titled Xiaomi 12 Ultra early next month. The new flagship is expected to be the first smartphone to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, which was introduced at the end of May.

The leaker reports that Realme will replace Xiaomi, followed by devices from OnePlus, iQOO, and Nubia. The claim seems to only take into account the Chinese market, as the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra will also have Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and is expected in July.

In another post, the tipster shares more details about the camera system of the Mi 12U. For example, unlike previously surfaced renders, the manufacturer would not have applied a Coca-Cola-like Leica logo on the back. Additionally, there will be a big surprise in the camera watermark area, but unfortunately the full meaning of it is lost due to translation from Chinese.
