Xbox Series X/S: in addition to scarce consoles, now there’s a shortage of controllers

In addition to the current generation of Xbox consoles, accessories now appear to be affected by the stock shortage. For example, finding an Xbox Wireless Controller for a reasonable price is nearly impossible right now.

A glance at the product comparison shows that most of the webshops affiliated with us have no stock. Anyone who still has copies will charge a substantial additional cost of 107 Euros on Blokker. The Xbox website also states that the gamepad is out of stock. While it’s unclear whether this lead time can actually be met, a custom controller from Xbox Design Lab will ship in three to four weeks.

Microsoft told the Video Games Chronicle that it is currently difficult to find Xbox Wireless Controllers due to supply chain issues. While they won’t go into details, we’re working with manufacturing and retail partners to improve the situation as quickly as possible.
