After months of anticipation, Tesla has unveiled the redesign of the Model Y (known as Model Y Juniper)which has undergone major changes compared to the previous model both outside and inside. At the moment, the new Tesla model can only be purchased on the Asian market, where Elon Musk’s company has one of the most important factories. It is expected to reach Europe and America later. It will also have the same specifications and exactly the same design; with a few minor exceptions.

Yeah, Juniper’s Model Y in China will not be the same as in Europe.. In fact – and obviously with the exception of the license plate design – there is a small detail that will allow us to know whether this is an Asian or a European model.

In particular, like the Tesla Model Y Juniper sold in China, there will be a Tesla logo on the hoodand in other countries where the specified electric car will be sold, this badge will not appear. In promotional images on Tesla’s China website, you can see Juniper’s Model Y includes the “T” feature. If we look at the global website, we see a completely smooth front.

Although the previous Tesla Model Y had a logo on the front, and models such as Model 3, Model S or Model makes the car more minimalistic. Of course, on the back you can see the word Tesla in both versions.

This is the new Tesla Model Y Juniper.

Both the Asian version and the global variant of the Model Y Juniper, again, will arrive with important design changes compared to the previous version of the Model Y. The most striking thing is that new frontl. The Juniper model dispenses with traditional headlights in favor of horizontal lines that run end to end, both front and rear.

The bumpers have also been redesigned. give a new look and improve the vehicle’s aerodynamics, which in turn makes the Model Y Juniper more efficient. In fact, according to Tesla, the Model Y Juniper’s autonomy improves by about 3% compared to its predecessor.

On the other hand, the interior now has design similar to Model 3 Highland. That is, abandon wood in favor of textile finishing. It also has an LED light strip on the dash, and the gear lever is no longer there, although, curiously, Tesla has retained the turn signal lever.

At the moment, there are no details about the availability of the car in Europe and other markets.
