Although these scientists showed how drinking soda can help you lose weight, they made two important points clear. On the one hand, the consequences are not as radical as one might expect. Talking about the amount of carbon dioxide and bicarbonate in relation to several liters of blood is not the same as talking about the concentrations that can be obtained by drinking carbonated water.
