The relationship between intelligence and deep questions is widely recognized. However What if the fear of death was actually an early sign of an extraordinary mind? This was the central hypothesis of one of my studies showing an important connection: from an early age, children tending to offer a high intellectual department with the finite and risks of life, and in most cases double exception traces.

When I realized that my five -year -old son often showed atypical fear about death and risk situations, my observation started at home. At the same time, reports such as the actor Keanu Reeves, who reflected the deaths of the deaths itself, strengthened my curiosity. In order to deepen the investigation, I started a survey in a talented discussion group in more than 500 talented communities, and almost the almost absolute majority of the members experienced the same pain of childhood or puberty.

With bibliographic examination, the literature revealed a standard. Quite intelligent children tend to have a sharp existential consciousness that understands abstract concepts such as finite and fragility long before the majority. The literature on superiority shows that individuals with high IQs often show intense emotional sensitivity and a perception of reality – show features that may lead to early and persistently manifesting.

During evolution, if the self-protection instinct guarantees the survival of species, this mechanism makes itself more intensely in individuals with high intellectuals, making them more cautious, hyper-conscious and often worried against them. It is a thin line between intelligence and anguish.

The result of my study shows that this relationship should not be seen as a simple coincidence, but should be seen as a reflection of how smart minds perceive the world. If a child is constantly concerned about death, perhaps he does not only need comfort, but he also needs appropriate stimuli for the unique way of interpreting life.
