A mess that Instagram would have turned into something of a failed clone of TikTok.
The changes had put the most demanding users on a warpath. Even the Kardashian had stepped in to express their disappointment at Instagram’s radical change. And finally the alliance between ordinary users and super influencers – united by the slogan Make Instagram Instagram again – broke through. Adam Mosseri, #1 on Instagram, has announced that the social network will make a U-turn and please its users. Instagram won’t be like TikTok, not right away, anyway. Everything remains as it is, or almost.
“If we don’t fail from time to time, it means we’re not thinking big enough and making bold choices,” Adam Mosseri said in an interview. The executive announced that the company will step back and rethink its future. “We’re going to work on it” and in the meantime Instagram remains… Instagram.
