In a little over a month Apple will present new iPhones 14. As usual, new rumors come in time on the next smartphones of the bitten apple. This time it’s about the Prices: according to some insiders they will cost less than thought. Could it be true?

The rumors come from the Korean site Naver in collaboration with the leaker yeux1122. Apple is said to be concerned that the current uncertain economic environment would unnecessarily penalize the sale of new smartphones. So the company would consider an aggressive pricing strategy.

Farewell to the original projects, which predicted that the new iPhone 14 would cost about $100 more on average than the iPhone 13’s launch price. According to Naver, the base iPhone 14 will be offered in the United States to $799 – and not $899 as expected by some other sources. In short, the price list remains unchanged.

The iPhone 14 Pro will likely cost $1099, while the iPhone 14 Pro Max it costs 1199. No discount, but also not the dreaded price increases. Let’s hope the Korean blog isn’t wrong.

If confirmed, it wouldn’t be trivial news: many companies have taken the diametrically opposite path. From Meta, which has increased the prices of its Meta Quest 2 virtual reality headsets by $100, to Amazon, which has increased the cost of its Prime subscription.
