For today’s trick, we are going to follow instructions from Microsoft itself, that if the company has one good thing, it is that they usually make guides and tutorials for their programs. And Excel wasn’t going to be smaller in that area.
To follow the Microsoft method, use the quick scan tool. to apply conditional formatting to cells in a range with duplicate text, unique text, and text that matches the specified text.
You can even apply conditional formatting to a row based on the text in one of the cells in the row. Apply text conditional formatting to a cell:
- Select the cells you want to apply conditional formatting to. Click the first cell in the range, then drag the cursor to the last cell.
- Click HOME > Conditional Formatting > Cell Selection Rules > Containing Text. In the Text it contains box on the left, enter the text you want to highlight.
- Select a text color format and click OK.
With all of this, you can easily change Excel and spreadsheet colors automatically and make those colors mean something, which is the most important thing in this tutorial. If you have any questions, please visit the Microsoft website about it. Good luck and good luck.
