8 Xiaomi mobile phones left without support and official updates: is your one of them?

Unfortunately, as we already know, the appearance of new terminals on the market usually means the disappearance of old ones, as they stop receiving updates from the company. Of course, all mobile phones have their cycle, and there are certain signs that tell us when their time has come.

One example we mentioned recently, with iOS 16 coming soon, is that Apple considers those smartphones that stopped selling seven years ago as obsolete and therefore won’t offer any hardware services.

In this case, we are focusing on Xiaomi, which will stop without daily beta tests, that is, without fixes and bugs and small news for eight of its smartphones. Obviously, the completion of the development of MIUI 13 suggests that these models will no longer receive MIUI 13.5.

However, since the release of the final version of the interface is far behind the release of the beta versions, all these models will receive final firmware updates for a long time.

The list of smartphones according to MundoXiaomi is as follows: Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro, Redmi K30 5G, Redmi K30i 5G, Redmi K30, Xiaomi Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, Redmi K30 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite Zoom. As of October 31, 2022, the company will stop developing versions of these models, so if you own any of these devices, consider upgrading to a newer model.

If we briefly analyze what kind of smartphones we are talking about, belong to those launched in 2020with Xiaomi Mi 10 as the great flagship of that year and the Ultra version characterized by being the first ever mobile phone with 120W fast charging, the price of which was quite moderate (650 euros).
