After a hangover from an Apple Event, now it’s time to look at everything that the company from Cupertino represents with the close attention characteristic of the laboratory.. For almost two hours of the event, we were able to see firsthand new mobile devices, among the new products are the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Not only mobile phones were introduced, the Apple Watch Ultra appeared and was accompanied by the Apple Watch Series 8 along with the second generation Apple Watch SE. It may seem like a lot of devices, but Apple had one more device in its hands: the new AirPods 2 Pro have already become a reality.

Despite a number of products Apple also took the time to launch a new processor which this time will not accompany all representatives of its new generation of devices. And the fact is that the new iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus have inside the Bionic A15 the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max generations.

The Bionic A16 is reserved for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models. a move that upset many users after the presentation of these two devices. Considering that it is very difficult to substantiate this movement, the results of the first synthetic tests of this new processor were published today.

To everyone’s surprise, the Bionic A16 showed a very interesting result, and in the multi-core test it performed lower than the Bionic A15. While the Bionic A15 managed to score 4885 points in this test, the Bionic A16 did not score just 4664 points..

The difference is 5%, which makes the Bionic A16 slower than its predecessor., although this does not mean that in real life and with mundane tasks it is not up to par. In fact, it probably won’t affect the overall performance of the device. What’s going on is that it’s really weird that it’s slower being a new processor.

We’ll have to wait until these new devices get into our hands to see how Apple’s new mobile phone chip performs.. In the meantime, it is high time to expect all the news that has been integrated into these phones, as well as those made in software, when the stable version of iOS 16 is released.
