The theme Dynamic Island On iPhone 14 essentially hides the pill-shaped camera body and provides information about notifications, calls, timers, Bluetooth pairing, and more. A MIUI theme developer has successfully implemented the Android version.
A short video has also been released illustrating the operation of Dynamic Island on the Android smartphone in detail, the Android version of Apple Theme is called Grumpy UI and it is still only available in the Chinese version and also includes a section “Now Playing ” in the MIUI software. The video shows that the theme could hide the pinhole selfie camera in the corner when the island is expanded.

Although Xiaomi has so far been silent about the new feature, the developers of the theme claim that the update is still under review, as the Grumpy UI, if approved, will be in the MIUI theme archive. While the utility of a pill-shaped camera theme cover is not very common among Android devices, it will be interesting to see if Xiaomi approves the feature.
Few Android smartphones come with pill-shaped notches, but the Dynamic Island-style Android theme may be available someday, and we’ll see if Xiaomi takes advantage of the feature.
