Instagram today it is one of the main social networks where normal people as well as influencers with many followers feel free to post mail performing various activities, such as posing in public places, and now, thanks to artificial intelligence and public access cameras, someone has revealed almost all of their secrets.

And this is what an influencer on Instagram before posting selfie or whatever it is in a post to make his followers happy he has to find the best possible pose to get a lot of likes and that is that everything we see in Instagram photos is less beautiful through public cameras.

And now Dries DePourter created artificial intelligence software that can search for images from public cameras and compare them with the original messages, determining the exact moment a photo or selfie was taken.

This is being done as part of a project called Follower who started recording live broadcasts from public cameras, and then filtering and finding the right tags in Instagram posts.

I hope to reach a lot of people by making it really simple. I really don’t like complex art. I like it when things are simple. I think I belong to a new generation of artists who work with technology.“, he concludes.

Thus, this experiment offers us an eerie vision of the small reality that we can see on sites like Instagram and technological interconnections between different devices, and this software can be used for surveillance purposes.

Instagram users should be careful when taking photos in public because they may end up discovering personal issues that shouldn’t be exposed.
