We won’t go into Tesla Whether or not they are cars for the rich, they certainly aren’t “worth” the same $100,000 in North American salaries as the salaries of the local miller…
In any case, if you dream of buying a Tesla, here is one of the best opportunities. The cheapest Tesla Model Y arrives in Spain, rear wheel drivewhose official name Tesla Model Y with rear wheel drive.
This is 15,000 euros cheaper than the Long Range version and 19,000 euros less than the Model Y Performance. And all this without cutting back on such important aspects as autonomy or equipment. We’re going to get the details with the help of our colleague Noelia Lopez from AutoBild.
Tesla Model Y with rear wheel drive Its price is 49,990 euros, not including processing and documentation costs. By adding this, it stays on 51,200 euros final priceso it meets the price requirement to request assistance from the government’s Moves III plan.
This plan offers Assistance in the amount of 4,500 to 7,000 euros for the purchase of an electric car, depending on whether you sell your old car for scrap. If yes, then with a discount of 7000 euros the cheapest Tesla Y remains at €44,200 final price.
And how is this new model different from the previous Model Y? This table has all the data:
Tesla Model Y rear wheel drive | Tesla model Y long range | Tesla Model Y Performance | |
Autonomy | 455km | 533km | 514km |
Max speed | 217 km/h | 217 km/h | 250km |
Acceleration 0-100km/h | 6.9 seconds | 5.0 seconds | 3.7 seconds |
Transmission | rear drive | Dual motor all wheel drive | Dual motor all wheel drive |
Price | EUR 51,200 | 65 990 euros | 70,000 euros |
As we see the new rear-wheel drive Y model offers 455 km of autonomy, that although it is the shortest of the three, for example, there is not much difference from the Performance model at 514 km.
Reaches maximum speed 217 km/hthe same as Great Autonomy, and somewhat less than 250 km / h for Performance.
The biggest difference is in acceleration. It takes 6.9 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h, compared to 5 seconds for Great Autonomy and 3.7 seconds for Performance.
But we must admit that these are extreme values, that in standard driving they are largely equal. And the price difference is big, from 15,000 to 19,000 euros.
This Tesla Y includes basic autopilot. A version with improved autopilot or fully autonomous driving increases the price and may exclude you from the Moves III plan.
You have more information on the official Tesla Spain page. Deliveries will begin in December or early 2023.
