AMD and his series Ryzen may be the preferred option for PC enthusiasts, but Intel is still alive and dominating much of the company, especially when it comes to laptops.

AMD just introduced the series Ryzen 7000 for desktop and Intel will soon introduce its own 13th Gen Intel Raptor Lake CPU, and to be more specific, the US-based chipmaker is set to launch its new CPUs next month, but the first details were revealed at the Intel Tech Tour in Israel. Apparently, the new generation will not come to “play” with the competition and break the world record with the support of clock speed of 8 GHz.

According to the first details, the new Raptor Lake desktop processor will be 15% faster with single-threaded workloads, plus up to 41% faster with multi-threaded workloads compared to alder lakeand will have the first SKU running at a standard clock speed of up to 6 GHz.

According to the company, the chipset will break the world record with a peak clock speed of 8 GHz. This is really only possible for those using a liquid nitrogen cooling solution, but they will still need an extra 700 MHz to reach the clock speed of 8.7 GHz, which is the real world record. We assume that this is only achievable with Intel Core i9 CPUs.
