It is shortly before the launch of the new Google Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, but from a leaker comes bad news for European fans. It seems that the company is not interested in bringing the versions with the main amnesia to Europe – and therefore to Italy.

This was claimed by Roland Quandt, a well-known tipster specializing in the behind-the-scenes mobile market. According to Quandt, Google will only sell two versions of the Google Pixel 7, namely the one from 128 and 256 GB. This at least in Europe, because in reality there is also a 512 GB version, which, however, could be exclusive to the US market. On the other hand, a version with 1 TB of memory is not planned, a rather rare and niche cut but offered by several other manufacturers on their respective top of the range smartphones (from the S22 Ultra to the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro maximum).

European consumers who need to store a large amount of data will inevitably have to subscribe to a subscription with Google1, the subscription service that includes a cloud storage plan and a VPN.

The new Google Pixel 7 and 7 Pro will be officially presented on October 6, with an event that will be held at 4:00 pm Italian. The new Pixel Watch will also be shown along with the two new smartphones. We already know that the two phones will have a new proprietary chip called tensor 2. All that’s left is to wait a few more weeks to find out more.
