Interesting new information emerges about Android 13. A tipster has discovered three interesting new ones functions which will soon make their debut on Google’s operating system. The first is for phone calls, while the second is for audiophiles.

The new features have not yet been officially announced by Google. Essentially, these are hidden – or dormant – features discovered by the code of the beta Android 13 QPR1. The same code led to the discovery of other interesting information, including the mention of two unreleased products: the Google Pixel Fold and a mysterious Pixel Tablet Pro.

The first new feature for Android 13 is called Clear calling: As you can guess from the name, it uses machine learning to remove background noise and buzz during phone calls. It doesn’t matter whether the user is calling from a crowded place, such as public transport, or in bad weather conditions, the software removes the sounds by giving the call recipient a clean voice free of annoying interference.

Clear Calling also works with VOIP phone calls, for example via WhatsApp or other messaging applications.

Then there is Spatial audio, or 3D Audio, which improves sound quality when playing songs, videos, or multimedia content that support this technology. And finally, Bluetooth LE audiothat optimizes performance and consumption when using Bluetooth headsets.
