Jade tree: how is it grown?

The botanical name is Crassula ovatabut it is known as jade tree or plant some money. A evergreen plant that comes cultivated as a houseplant. The leaves are juicy, fleshy, glossy and jade green. These may have a pink tinge on the edges if the plant is growing and grown in a bright area.

The plant needs a lot of light in the house, it should be on the south or west. If you have an outdoor space such as a sunny patio, don’t forget to move it indoors before the early fall chill sets in. It is needed give it water only when the first centimeters of compost are dry. The repot it is preferred in the spring while it needs less water in the winter. The Jade tree can withstand temperatures of up to 10 degrees in winter. A good wet compost is useful.

The easiest way to propagate the Jade tree is by using the cuttings of the Rod. Scissors or scissors can be used and then trim the stem portion with at least two knots. Then loosen the leaves from the bottom of the cut, leaving some at the top. Then transfer it to water until the roots develop, then place it in a pot with a full compost without peat or perlite.
