Surface Pro 9 and Surface Pro 9 5G: two almost twin brothers

In the previous generation, Microsoft distinguished between ranges Surface Pro and Surface Pro X installing completely different processors and transferring the mobility of the Pro X model to Microsoft SQ processors based on the ARM architecture.

For this generation, Microsoft is following a slightly different strategy and is dividing the Surface Pro 9 family into two processor-equipped series. 12th generation Intel Core i5-1235U and Core i7-1255U for its consumer division and Intel Core i5-1245U and Core i7-1265U for enterprise, supporting 5G networks with 3rd generation Microsoft SQ processors.

As usual with Surfaces, Microsoft leaves the power setting of its Surface Pro 9 up to the user, giving RAM options 8GB, 16GB, 32GB LPDDR5 and removable SSDs 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB storage.

The ARM version of the Surface Pro 9 also has some differences in this section because it RAM LPDDR4x allows up to 16 GB, and the board has soldered SSD storage up to 1 TB.

Windows 11 and the ability to use apps from the Microsoft Store and Amazon

Both the Surface Pro 9, which features 12th Gen Intel processors, and the ARM-based version run Windows 11. This gives them access to a large software repository, which is the Microsoft App Store.
