Google plans to continue to sell 8 million Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. The company is extremely confident in its new smartphones and is working to make it the “most successful launch of the Pixel line”.

The last generation had already had some pretty solid results. In many ways, the Pixel 6 marked a new starting point for Google: they were the first to mount its own processor, the Google Tensor. In addition, a clearly recognizable design that, however divided, has nevertheless captured the heart of a niche of enthusiasts.

Google has communicated to its suppliers that it wants to roughly double the number of sales it made with the Pixel 6. To participate in this goal – writes the Nikkei Asia – not only the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro would be presented on October 13 , but also a third and unreleased Pixel 7 of the mid-low range that will be launched in the course of 2023. is announced.

Unlike the last generation, the Pixel 7 will also be sold in some Northern European markets (i.e. Novergia, Sweden, Denmark and the Netherlands). But the most important results can come in India: it is the first time that a Pixel smartphone is also sold in this (huge) Asian market.

In order to boost sales at D1 as much as possible, Google has run some very high profile promotions in numerous markets. For example, if you buy a new Pixel 7 Pro in Germany and France, you also get a Pixel Watch for free. Unfortunately, Italy is one of the few countries not affected by these generous countries promotional launch offers.
