What happened to the Pixel Fold / Pixel Notepad, the first foldable smartphone Made by Google? During the company’s last keynote there was no trace of this, but we know that Google has been working on it for years.

At the event in early October, Google unveiled the new Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, as well as the new Pixel Watch. Google also showed a preview of the new Pixel Tablet, which, however, will only be available in a few months. Many fans also expected to see a teaser of the new Pixel Fold for the first time, but were disappointed.

The good news is that according to some rumors, Google’s first foldable smartphone is actually very close. A matter of very little. Google probably chose not to show it so as not to penalize sales of the new Pixel 7.

When will the Pixel Fold be released? The answer – concise and lapidary – comes from Ross YoungAnalyst and CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants: “Q1,” reads the tweet sent to another user. First quarter 2023, in a few months. Also according to Young, shipments of the foldable displays that will be mounted on the Pixel Fold will start in January. The device will probably be presented in March and then put on the market.

The bad news is that Italians will probably have to wait a little longer. Google doesn’t seem to really like our country: we’ve seen it with the launch of the Pixel 6 and also the new Pixel Watch. There is a possibility that the Pixel Fold will be launched exclusively in a handful of countries in March, while it could not arrive in Italy until the end of 2023.
