According to Expreview, Asus will soon release a new micro-ATX case. The AP201 Ice Cube seems to be mainly focused on cooling, as all the side panels are equipped with mesh. It combines the size of 460 x 205 x 350 millimeters (33 litres) with a weight of 5.8 kg.

While the cabinet can only handle micro-atx and itx motherboards, there’s plenty of room for cooling. There’s room for two 140mm or three 120mm fans at the top, while two fans can fit in the front and bottom. A single 120mm fan can be placed at the rear. In terms of water cooling, radiators from 120 to 360 mm are supported.

The chassis is also flexible in terms of other components: CPU coolers can be up to 170mm high, while GPUs up to 338mm and power supplies from 140 to 180mm are compatible. In terms of storage, there’s room for three 3.5/2.5-inch drives and another 2.5-inch model. Finally, the connection consists of a USB type-c port, two type-a connectors, and two 3.5mm audio connections.

The AP201 Ice Cube comes in white and black color options and is expected to go on sale in China in the middle of next month, with a suggested retail price of 499 yuan (71 euros). It is unclear whether and when the residence will come to the west.
