According to Display Supply Chain Consultants, Samsung Display will begin mass production of 49- and 77-inch qd oled panels early next year. These should complement the existing 55- and 65-inch televisions, which will soon be available on the Samsung S95B and Sony Bravia XR A95K televisions.


The suggested retail price of the 65-inch model of the Samsung S95B is 3,400 euros.

Earlier this month, the Korean display manufacturer announced that the efficiency of qd-oled panels has passed the 75% mark, or 1.35 million units per year. This means Samsung Display can produce about 1 million panels a year for TVs, as some of the capacity is reserved for 34-inch monitors.

They also want to increase the yield to 90% in the second half of this year.
