Also Disney + will soon offer an “economic” plan, supported by commercial break. The quotes are actually a must as the main plan will go from $7.99 to $10.99 per month while the ad plan will occupy the old price range.

In fact, there is no savings compared to the current situation: those who want to continue spending $7.99 will now have to put up with the commercials, while those who want to access the service without commercial breaks he will have to pay an extra three dollars a month. The good news is that for the time being – this applies to the increases, but also to the new subscription – all these innovations concern the American market only.

As if that weren’t enough, ads aren’t even the only ‘boredom’. The “cheap” plan (again, mandatory quotes) will in fact impose at least one other limit.

According to Steve Moser of MacRumors, Disney + Basic (this is the official name) won’t even grant access to content sharing via SharePlay and GroupWatch, that is, the two features that allow you to play a movie or series with one or more friends at the same time.

For now, this is an unconfirmed rumor, but Moser seems pretty confident in what he’s saying. However, these would be less severe restrictions than those of the Netflix ad subscription, which, in addition to the commercials, also provides for the inability to play the content offline and a maximum resolution of 720p.
