Asus has introduced the Prime H610I-Plus, a mini-ITX motherboard for Intel Alder Lake processors. As the name suggests, it uses the H610 chipset and is therefore a model for the lower end of the market. It is currently for sale from 130 Euros (at time of writing) and is therefore one of the cheapest itx cards with lga 1700.

In keeping with its relatively low price, it is preferable to equip the Prime H610I-Plus with two DDR4 slots where you can use up to 64GB of RAM. There is one m.2-2280 slot (pcie 3.0 x4) and four SATA for storage media. A second m.2 connection is available, but only suitable for wireless network cards (e-key).

The bottom PCIe port provides 16 gen4 lanes and is powered by a SafeSlot mount. The power supply of the CPU consists of 5+1+1 phases and is covered by a heatsink. There are also three connections for fans.

On the back, I/O consists of two USB 2.0, two USB 3.2 (5 Gbit/s), HDMI, Displayport and three ports for D-Sub, PS/2, Gigabit Ethernet and 7.1 channel audio. Realtek controllers are used for audio and network connectivity.
