THE airline tickets soon they will also be available in metaverse The first to focus on virtual worlds is Vueling, a Spanish low-cost airline. To be clear, tickets aren’t just tokens or digital fetishes, but they can even be used in place of traditional airport airfares.

Vueling has announced a partnership with Next Earth, a virtual platform that can count on more than 230,000 users and approximately 45,000 virtual landowners. Also IoMob will be part of the agreement: it is a Spanish startup that provides digitization services (such as solutions to buy tickets with a smartphone) to local transport companies and is present in more than 270 cities.

IoMob will soon be creating an app entirely dedicated to Vueling’s new digital products. The app will communicate with the Next Earth metaverse. In addition to flights, the app can also be used for renting e-scooters, electric bicycles, Uber rides and much more.

From the app, the user can see the options available, the flights with the most competitive prices and even an estimate of the carbon footprint of each stage of their journey.

The choice for Next Earth is not accidental. The metaverse offers a 1:1 reproduction of planet Earth. In short, forays into the real world and virtual worlds will soon go hand in hand. Opening image via MetaNews
