Asus has added a new 14″ OLED model to its Zenbook Duo series notebooks: Asus Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED. The notebook features a 14.5″ OLED display with a resolution of ‘2.8k’ (2880 x 1800). Below it is a smaller 12.7” screen (2880 x 864, no OLED). Both displays are touchscreens with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Asus mainly focuses on laptop and graphics developers. Both displays have 100 percent DCI-P3 color space and high brightness (550 nits for OLED, 500 nits for the smaller screen). The laptop is available with a 12th generation Intel Core i7 or i9 processor, 16 or 32GB DDR5 memory, up to 2TB of m.2 NVME storage and an optional Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti (4GB).

The opening mechanism has been revamped with this Zenbook. When opening the laptop, the back of the so-called ScreenPad Plus, the smaller screen, is raised 20 mm, making it at an angle of 12 degrees. Not only does this make the screen more visible, it also provides 38 percent more air supply, keeping the laptop cooler, according to Asus.

Asus has yet to reveal a price or release date. The 15-inch version can be sold for 2500 euros, but it has a more expensive RTX 3060 graphics card.
