Computing has evolved in powerful ways. Each step along this path is marked by evolution in the way we use it and the devices that access it: initially from data centres, to personal computers and a PC in every home; then with laptops and now more recently with the power of cloud computing and smartphones.

In an extended scenario, you will be able to chat with other people as if they were sitting in a virtual meeting room or at home, physically thousands of miles away; or watch a live Formula 1 race with the track as a colorful 3D map as you watch cars pass by across the dining room table.
Since 2012, there have been several attempts to commercially use these smart glasses: Google Glass, virtual reality; HoloLens from Microsoft; Ray-Ban Meta (for Facebook and Instagram); MetaQuest, also one of the owners of this social network; PlayStation’s VR or Snapchat’s Spectacles are designed to record every action and daily life of people on this platform.
They all have one thing in common: they didn’t work, they didn’t take off and get mass takeovers, and that’s about to change.

Apple has decided to enter this world of spatial computing and, as in the past, can repeat the same story with the iPhone, iPad or Watch: there were already tablets, smartwatches and smartphones, but now its version has arrived let’s shake it off, let’s massify these product concepts.

Analyst and expert Ming-Chi Kuo, who always gets his data about Apple right, announced that the pre-sale of Vision Pro will be 200,000 units and approximately 160,000 to 180,000 of these Apple glasses have been shipped. In one weekend, they would have sold half of what they planned to sell in all of 2024.
Apple Vision Pro are glasses made of glass, plastic, aluminum and fabric. Speakers with spatial audio, viewfinders with 4K resolution lenses in each eye, cameras for capturing the outdoors with photos and videos, eye tracking sensors, all to produce a high-resolution 3D map of one’s surroundings.
They can be connected to the wall or have a two-hour battery capacity. It has two ‘brains’: the powerful M2, which processes data, and the R1, which analyzes data from cameras, sensors and microphones.
There are various tasks and applications that can be used with the Apple Vision Pro in addition to the incoming ones: The ecosystem of developers and technology companies is expected to give power and strength to this device for its final allocation.
According to Mordor Intelligence, This year, the mixed reality business will be around $4 billion, reaching $27 billion by 2029.

4. Hyperrealistic simulators. Driving a racing car or piloting a plane will be a unique experience.
5. Virtual reality. You can try a new color for your home and the model and shape of the furniture in the living room. You can even virtually design a house in many locations with special software.
6. Professional video calls. New meetings will be about interacting with people live, hologram style.
