After nearly a decade of the same Windows Settings design, the new build brings a “modern aesthetic” with a white background and updated user interface elements.
Microsoft also introduced Voice Clarity, which improves audio quality during video calls. Effectively suppresses background noise and echo.
This structure also significantly improves the performance of Narrator, a screen reader for low vision users. It now provides improved text recognition in images, as well as seamless navigation between on-screen images using keyboard shortcuts.
Alongside these major updates, Microsoft is also rolling out a number of minor improvements and bug fixes.
