Keeping safe in mobility apps is as simple as setting up a warning about a hole in the road, a traffic jam, or the police. On Waze and Google Maps, you can also report errors in routes or if it’s not well lit.

Waze can help you in dangerous areas, but this option is not yet enabled in Colombia, so if the driver does not know the route, it is better not to risk it to take a different path.

To avoid these, you can configure the application in: In settings, navigation option and disable option to avoid risky areas.

In the case of Waze, the dangerous or high-risk areas report is shared by the UN.

The other option is to put the report or warning after you drive through an area with no good security so other drivers know what they’re thinking and can avoid them.

You can also report the route as incorrect, you just have to select the report option, click on the fault on the map and select the fault type and suggest or send.

In case of Google Maps with new update, or at least Beta version 10.31.0, it shows in yellow. Correct lighting of the streets is indicated for those who use it, thus avoiding unlit areas. For the app to warn you against these areas open itclick help and comments and select dwrite suggestion to warn dangerous places
