Meta’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, reported that GIFs, stickers, and reactions will be added to encrypted chats, namely direct messages, on Instagram, and will be notified when another user takes a screenshot of temporary messages.

Zuckerberg made the announcement on Facebook, stating that it will only be available for now. in the United States as it is the only country where the update is available includes end-to-end encryption and temporary message setup.

It is expected to be available soon in Europe and other regions such as Latin America.

The administrator advised users to: do not take screenshots of chat messages without warning for notice in advance.

For now, Instagram will only issue the alert in private conversations, but they can extend it when you capture Stories or posts.
