The platform and Bogotpa International Book Fair FiLBo have teamed up to bring unique stories and new missions through the hashtag #BookTok, an initiative aimed at providing literature to people who are part of the TikTok community in Colombia.

#BookTok is a community now on the platform that combines reading with short videos available on TikTok.

The idea is for users who discover new authors to recommend their favorite books and even discover new ways to approach literature.

They can also explore original videos where stories, reviews, and summaries of the books have been recreated. new title suggestions based on current trends, writing tips, conversations with authors, etc.

The #KitapTok experience within FILBo includes events such as interviews and masterclasses with Erika Muñoz and Laura Reyna from the TikTok team and content creator (@soyfelipeg) on ​​Saturday, April 29 at 19:00.

The next day there will be a panel to explain how the arrival of TikTok represents a change in the way we consume literature.
