Marriott International and Rappi, Inc companies have signed a collaboration to enable users to accumulate points daily and provide a high travel experience for both Marriott Bonvoy members and app users.

The idea is that Rappi and Marriott Bonvoy accounts can be linked soon so that they have special benefits such as accumulating Bonvoy Points for eligible purchases on Rappi. It also offers additional benefits for Rappi Prime users.

The alliance of the global hotel company with the Latin American technology company marks the beginning of innovative and technological collaborations.

Marriott Bonvoy currently has more than 5.8 million users in the Caribbean and Latin America. Rappi will allow Marriott International to offer its services More than 30 million Rappi users in nine Latin American countries, Including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay.

Collaboration between Marriott Bonvoy and Rappi will be implemented first in MexicoMarriott’s largest market in the region is followed by Colombia and Rappi’s other markets in the coming months.

Rappi’s verticals include home delivery from restaurants, supermarkets and pharmacies; messaging, financial services, e-commerce and travel; and a Prime subscription service that offers free home delivery and lots of other benefits. Rappi is headquartered in Bogotá, Colombia and currently serves more than 350 cities in 9 Latin American countries.
